Financial expert
Jim Rasberry
A resident of Laurel, Mississippi, Jim graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration. He holds FINRA licenses 6,7,63,66 and a Mississippi Life and Health Insurance license.
In 2002, Jim founded Rasberry Financial Services, which has become a premier firm in the Southeast offering investment and retirement planning services to personal clients and businesses. Jim has been named a “Leader in Finance” by the Mississippi Business Journal. Jim is also partner in a historic real estate development firm and partner in the Laurel Mercantile Co.
Jim is passionate about his community and is the former Chairman of the Economic Development Authority of Jones County. He is a founding member of Laurel Main Street which promotes business development in downtown Laurel. Jim has served on the Laurel School District board of trustees and can also be seen in the HGTV hit show, Home Town, which chronicles the rebirth of a small town in Mississippi. This involvement has spurred the topic of “Downtown Comeback” as nationally recognized content that educates, inspires, and motivates others to get involved with saving America’s small towns and understanding the value of “Made in the USA”. The team of Napier, Nowell, and Rasberry have renovated over 70 homes in Laurel’s historic district and over 65,000 square feet of commercial space in the downtown business district.
Jim and his wife, Mallorie, have two daughters, Lucy and Lottie. The Rasberry’s have called downtown Laurel home since 2009.

Instructor: Jim Rasberry - Rasberry Producer Group. Tuesdays Oct 18 and 25 or Thursdays Oct 20 and 27 6:30 pm. Tuition is $39 per couple and includes a workbook. You must register before the first session and can pay the tuition in person at the first class.
